In your opinion, are public libraries still relevant and important today? When so many books are digitized, so much public culture exists online and so often people interact virtually, should the government continue to pay for and support these institutions?
In my opinion, public libraries are important, even though nowadays, many books are digitized. I think there is big difference between paper books and digital books. When I hold a paper book, I feel comfortable. Also, public libraries are very quiet, so we can concentrate on our reading and studying.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. we need public libraries. The students have library at the school where they can study with good environment. But if your not student you don't have this situation. They cant study.
DeleteI agree you. If there were no public libraries, we can't concentrate on our study. In addition, there were no place for community. Also we can borrow a book and some materials for free. That's why I agree with your opinion.
DeleteI think public libraries are already old fashioned. Many books have been digitizing recently as you know and using huge amount of paper is not environmentally friendly. However, somewhere like libraries is still needed because we can truly concentrate on our studies in silent space. So I suggest we should make buildings which include silent space for comfortable study instead of libraries.
